Container for filament spools with container for silica gel. A different way to store the coils in a dry environment and protected from the humidity present in the air. The two half-shells are screwed together and the silica container closes with a cap with a bayonet coupling. In order to identify the type of filament inside, I created two types of labels to print with the material you are placing inside the container. They can be installed on the lid or alternatively on the curved face. You can further customize them during printing by adding a text with the description of the filament inside. I printed all the components in PLA with a 0.4 nozzle and 0.2mm layer height. The container will appear very thin to your eyes, but I believe it is robust enough to carry out its task and at the same time economically convenient. I hope you appreciate my idea.

Among the files at your disposal I have added the high version of the male part for spools with a thickness of up to 74mm. It is perfectly compatible with the previous version.
The file is called "Male_spool_cover_tall_version.STL".
Update dated 04/28/2024
I added a change to the "male spool cover tall version" part, increased the thickness a bit and added a small bevel to the base of the thread.
This change was made after a user reported that he had experienced a breakage in that area. I apologize to all those who have encountered the same problem and I invite you to report any other critical issues in order to remedy them as quickly as possible.
The new part to print for the tall version is called "Male_spool_cover_tall_version_rev.280424.stl"
