Thank you for the feedback! I will have to look into how to do something like that. Lining up the pattern while the threads are tightened, has proven to be pretty difficult. Especially if you scale the jar in anyway, because that will change the tolerences. Also, the threads will loosen with time, making it even more difficult. I could just leave the pattern off the lid, which would solve that problem. Did the pattern line up okay for you? I have version two designed and printed already - the weed only sticks out 0.5 instead of 1mm, which makes it feel less “sharp” and I added a lip around the top and bottom so the weed pattern doesn’t create hard edges.

I can imagine the difficulty here. I am only novice with the modellers... I think the pattern on the lid is what makes this special so I would keep it. After a short research, maybe this helps: Design the Internal Stop and Notch: Lid: Integrate a small internal protrusion or stop inside the rim of the lid. Jar Neck: Add a corresponding flat area or notch on the upper neck of the jar.

did you happen to change the scale? mine lined up perfectly (see pic), but the threads tend to get looser over time which does change it. I think I have a solution for it - working on it now
