Description

I designed this simple and thin frame, for my Hueforge 200x200 models, the thickness of the frame is only 6.6mm, while the depth is 12mm, in the back there are hanging guides on each side, and recesses to apply up to 4 fixatorsFor me it works well even with only 2 fixators!

I'd like to see this file without the fixators and the frame in one file and also a separate file with either 1 or 2 of them on their own. I printed this for a HueForge that was 2mm thick on the edges and technically it fit, but it was bowing the fixators outward which I did not like, inverting their position made the picture too loose. To the best of my skill it would appear this frame can only support up to 1mm edges. This will need to be modified slightly on my end to fit photos thicker than 1mm on the edges, otherwise I like the simple design. Could you share the max dimensional thickness of a picture this can support? I'm not good with the measurements, so 1mm thickness was my best guess.

thanks for the feedback and suggestions... actually the fixators foreseen in the initial project are effective up to 1 mm of thickness of the picture, for higher thicknesses I have added two new variants, one to be used for thicknesses between 1 and 2.1 mm, and one for thicknesses from approximately 2.2mm to 2.9mm... I will also add the files of the various options (as I have already done for the stl) 3mf
