Description

I was too broke to buy similar spacers online so I decided to design it myself, and share it for anyone else who has a printer and wants handle extenders for their Glidr Arctic or Antarctic. For me, personally, the balance with these spacers makes the balisong feel nicer to flip and it makes the sound deeper as well, which I like.

After removing supports, and making sure no excess material is left on the surfaces, putting in the spacers is as easy as replacing the stock spacers - just make sure to align the spacer parallel with the handle before fully tightening.

Recommendations:

  • Print horizontally with supports - I recommend you to exclude supports for the Glidr logo if you're printing the variant with the logo because you'll need something sharp to remove it and the logo can be easily printed without supports.
  • I printed mine with Esun PETG, but you can use any reasonably strong filament (even PLA is probably fine).
  • 2 or 3 walls is fine but you can add more if you feel that it needs more strength
  • I don't recommend printing with a brim because it'll be a pain to remove because of the jimping.

Happy printing and flipping! :)
