Description

This is a custom designed airsoft m4 stock. It can hold any battery as long as it fits inside the buffer tube. Designed around a Specna Arms airsoft m4, but should fit any m4 with a standard buffer tube (print a small section first to ensure it fits).

Included are:

  • Main stock
  • Butt plate (additional version on plate2),
  • Butt plate positioning pins
  • Latches (optional if you want butt plate to be removable)
  • Thumb screw which is used to adjust the stock's position.

Before gluing in latches or pins check if they work properly and are oriented correctly. You might need to adjust the fit of pins and latches depending on filament shrinkage.

I ended up not gluing anything as fitment was very tight and used only one pin and latches

wait so thumb screw is printed??? is it strong enough? there's no actual moving parts even in real deal there's no gas force to blow back or kinetically break that thumbscrew right? is it just the adjustable 3d printed butt stocks that have issues? I'd love to have sonething like this that folds around the tube

I have not tested it with real rifle. I don't have access to one as I'm in Europe. I'm pretty sure it will break instantly if you use it on a real AR.

lol not that you should try, but i am pretty sure it would work just fine,. The buffer tube vibrates sure but its physically moving on the outside. Itmay have some heat but not enough to really melt the pla. Look at the many printable stocks online, youll see many are just like yours. I just think it looks beautiful and would like to try it with a real metal thumbscrew, and maybe ill use two holes that go through the tpu pad to secure it better but it looks like it should be good to go actually. why would you think it would break thoiugh? What point of failure is there? I aim to print at 50 to 100% rectyiolinear infill so even if i drop it it will be hard to break. iits actually a solid design! Probably would work great. But thats not your fault :D Also maybe eastern europe will allow need this to be real to fight Russia one day

I think the main point of failure is a pin on the thumb screw. to make it stronger I can make it so it consists of 2parts. thumb screw with hole that you would need to add piece of metal rod to. superglue it or something.

I'm not sure. it is designed to fit on Airsoft tube which is almost identical to mil-spec. knurled bolt is used for adjusting it. less convenient than spring latch but does not require any hardware and can be 3d printed

very cool reply and very responsible. i only intend airsoft usage i am just curious if i could make theseto sell , if people ask me i want to knopw, and its niot even a controlled part, i feel like this could be a big money maker. theer are $40 magpull stocks on amazon with no ID even needed to buy so im thinking, if you give commercial license, we could have a really cool business here

so this is 206grams and made 05-12 while your other stock is 201g rams...and from 02-28 https://makerworld.com/en/models/211777#profileId-231570 so is this one newer and better?

I already have these but it's so beautiful I feel like it's so worth printing instead if spending 40 bucks on amazon for a magpull one. but I would still have to buy the bolt ... maybe I can find one in the streets somewhere I can unscrew lol
