Description

A "small" remix of Kitlaan's Soldering case. Slightly modified for European power supply and more tips :-).

It is use for:

  • The TS80P soldering iron + tip
  • 3 additional tips
  • European power supply
  • USB-C cable
  • Grounding cable
  • Hex L key

Like in original, I also use 4 pieces of 4x2 neodymium magnet.

Tolerances are fine for my printer, but I believe that they are so conservative that everybody could print it without any issues.

*Rev2 @ 13.2.2021*

I put here separate .stl for each part. As axis use M3 screw or similar tube. Holes in the hinges have dia 3,3 mm. It is just quick modification as requested in comments.

*Rev1 @ 21.1.2021*

I made a big changes inside the box. I added two "holders" for "Hook-and-loop" fastener. Now is possible to put there 2m USB-C cable and also grounding cable from original packaging.

Slicing

Please see instructions from original one.

One more tip - use different layer height for first 19 mm (for example 0,28 mm) and print rest of the case with the height 0,2 mm. Gaps in the hinge are "designed" for 0,2 mm print.

That could save a lot of printing time.

Notes:

I recommend to print it from PETG due to power supply holder. These two parts have to be flexible.
