Description

While printing some models, I found that some infill patters and densities were more likely to to leave artifacts on the top layer. That led me to create these ‘infill pucks’. These pucks have a shallow dome section as well as a flat top surface to test various infill types and densities. Currently, I've included plates containing pucks with infill densities 15%, 25%, and 50%.

Each puck is labeled with the infill density, layer height, and infill pattern.

I don't recommend printing the embossed text in a different color as this adds a ridiculous amount of time and produces a lot of waste. It's quite easy to go over the raised text with a sharpie if you'd like high-contrast.

I kept the speed settings on default for each printing profile to provide somewhat of a control for the infill pucks. If needing to test or calibrate for more extreme slopes, I suggest slowing the speed to increase print quality.

I've included a rudimentary display rack in the 3mf. I may update this with labeling, make it modular, or something else if there is interest…

*** CrossHatch infill pattern will be added when it leaves public beta.
