Craft custom waterproof * junction boxes to your exact specifications with this versatile Fusion 360 parametric model.

This new 3D model has the following advantages over the previous version:

  1. External screws: Water cannot pass through the screws thanks to their external placement.
  2. Self-printable gasket: The gasket can be printed independently (TPU or other soft filaments are recommended).
  3. Increased number of screws: A higher number of screws ensures a more resistant seal.
  4. 🆕 External holes for screwing the box to a wall

Customize every dimension:

  • Height
  • Width
  • Depth
  • Screw sizes
  • Side hole size
  • Dimensional parameters of the gasket
  • and more (every field is documented)!

Download now and start creating the perfect junction boxes for your needs!

* Clearly, this box does not have any safety certification. If you want to improve its water resistance, I recommend brushing resin on the box or filling it with electrical insulating gel. Also, I recommend using a high-temperature resistant filament.

*** Changelog ***

UPDATE 8 Jun 2024

  • External holes were added to screw the box to a wall

UPDATE 9 May 2024

  • Changes have been made to the Fusion source code to improve component management
  • Significant changes have been made to the lid, making it more robust and providing more space for screws

Hey, buddy! You have a great model, thanks for it! I would like to clarify, is it possible to make openings for fixing the box to the wall ? Like on the screenshot

Hi, I don't think this is the best solution to maintain water resistance. However, if you want to proceed this way, you have 2 options: 1) Modify the Fusion 360 source; 2) Print the original model and then drill the holes. I hope I've been helpful!

If this is not a good idea, how would you recommend attaching this box to the wall outside ? Maybe you can give me a better idea. Thank you.

Adding external holes to attach the box to a wall or other surfaces could be an improvement. I'll add it to the list of possible future modifications and implementations for the model. Stay tuned! thanks

What makes it parametric? I don't see how to get anything but .3mf or .stl in this interface.

Nice. Thanks! I made some caps and nuts and TPU washers for mine, because I am only planning to use one of the holes for now and it is in the back yard by a concrete slab. I used PETG and TPU 98a
