Description

This has the best TPU Filament settings I have found that give virtually no stringing with a minimal amount of drying needed for your TPU. Drying will always give you better results, but I found this profile to help when you don't have the time or equipment to dry.

The profile was made using SainSmart TPU which has a recommended temp of 200 to 220, but will likely work with other brands of TPU with some adjustments to temperature if needed.

There are two ways to use these settings, with the first way being the easiest if it works. I do not think that just clicking Print on the print profile in Bambu Handy will work. You will first need to save the filament preset in Bambu Studio on a computer, then you will be able to use the preset for any print on Bambu Handy.

Method 1: Open the .3mf file in bambu studio before printing, and then select to use the SainSmart TPU filament preset. Then save the preset as one of your own for later use. If the filament profile does not show up, try method 2.

Method 2: Download the filament preset in .json format by clicking download stl, then selecting the .zip file that contains the .json for the filament profile. Once downloaded, unzip the file in your file folder to get the .json file. Then, open bambu studio, click file in the top left corner, then import, then import configs. Select the .json file that you unzipped and click open. It should say that the preset config was imported. Then, select that filament to use to print! If you already have a filament preset with the same name, I suggest renaming your current preset so that you do not lose that preset by overwriting it. Just renaming the .json file will not help, as the name for the preset is inside of the .json and will not be changed when you change the name of the .json file.

Once the filament preset is saved to your bambu studio, you will be able to use it when you print this or any other profile from your phone by selecting it when you check “Use my presets”.

Were these instructions easy to follow? Did everything go smoothly for you? Let me know in the comments!

Also, share your prints so I can see how the profile worked for you! Enjoy!
