Motivation

This Model is inspired by the winner of the bathroom shelf contest. I really enjoyed the design, but sadly the dimensions are to small for all of my utensils. Thats why i designed a parametric basket which dimesions are customizable.

Choose your design

If you just want the basket, shown in the picture. You can download the provided .3mf file. Its dimensions are as followed:

• Length = 200 mm
• Width = 100 mm
• Height = 32 mm
• Pole Diameter = 18 mm (check if yours is the same)
• Distance of Pole to Wall = 42 mm (check if the distance is the same)

If you want a different size, your the dimensions of your shower head pole are different, you have to change the varaibles in Onshape (Don't wory, it is easy. A free account is required).

Change dimensions

To change the dimensions of the basket, you need to follow these steps:

1. Create an Onshape Account here (if you don't have one already)
2. Open my document (part) and select “make a copy to edit”
3. On the top right, change the “Configurations” of the part to the variables to your liking
4. On the bottom left, select both bodies and right click the option export. As file format choose .3mf
5. Import the 3mf to the slicer of your choice

Assembly

The original design used two 3d printed screws and bolts. I am not a fan of these, which is why I choose to use M3 Screws and Nuts. For assembly, you need the following:

I hope you enjoy my spin on a shower basket. I would really enjoy you posting a Make of your prints and also download the .3mf, even if you only us onshape, so I can get my Prusameters :P.
