Hello ! Im at it again with the Kumiko patterns!
The design consists of a Kumiko outer pot and inner planter pot. The inner planter has drainage holes (of course they are Kumiko patterns) and will drain excess water into a small recess in the outer pot.
Kumiko, a traditional Japanese woodworking technique, serves as a profound source of inspiration for artisans and designers worldwide. Rooted in centuries-old craftsmanship, Kumiko involves meticulously assembling small wooden pieces to form intricate geometric patterns, creating visually stunning and structurally sound works of art. This technique, characterized by its precision and attention to detail, embodies the essence of Japanese aesthetics and cultural heritage. Beyond its inherent beauty, Kumiko holds deeper significance, symbolizing patience, perseverance, and a deep connection to nature.
