This expandable Piggy Bank features 2 parts for the basic model which is able to hold some of your money, but as your stack of coins grows an expansion part is featured, that is designed to fit the lid as well as another expansion. You can stack as many expansions as you like and create a big Piggy Bank tower.

Mine is printed with simple PLA that is a little translucent, so if you hold it against the light one is able to see how far your saving efforts have come.

The tolerances can be quite tight so for myself I added a little bit of lube to make the initial screwing process easier. If I get enough feedback I'll add a version with higher tolerances. For me though, I like my box to be snug.

The Assembly is really simple:

1. Print the parts in the color of your choice
2. Add a little bit of lubricant to the thread
3. Assemble the three or more parts

I was also thinking of releasing a “happy birthday” version so it could be a nice gift for someone (especially when you put some extra cash inside :D). If you are interested in that, let me know.
