Description

Introducing Roadbites, the modular food station for your vehicle. We went through several revisions and test prints to get this first version as best as it could be. We of course know this may not work for every vehicle out there, but in time we will have different version adaptations to fit more vehicles. This was completed designed and tested using ASA filament, so not sure how fitment may be with other filament types. We look forward seeing how this works for others and different color variations that will be used.

 

There are additional parts needed which are listed in the video, but it would not allow me to type in the parts myself in the non 3d printed parts section.

is it possible to design the cup more narrow. I’d like to use this in the fold down center console of my rear seats. the cup holder back there is about 70mm.

Hey awesome! Thanks for uploading a pic! I am making a revised version with 4 modular slides and removing the hole, so I will create a smaller cup version as well.

Would like to remove the hole from the cup holder and replace it with another of the slide on parts. That way both my wife and I can have a fry and dip holder on both sides.

Nice design, going to give it a try in my 2008 Ford F150. Just a tip, you may want to redo the print profile for each of the parts to be on a separate plate instead of each part being a different project. Just a little more convenient to print the whole thing.

The main reason I do that is because of settings that are not able to be changed if they are all on different plates as one project. Most are the same with this one, but the lock and tabs plate have a different quality setting as well as speed.

Love the print - but in the "Sauce it up" area what are those 2 shallow horizontal compartments for? I know the holes are for the sauces, but I can't for the life of me figure out what the other holes are for.
