Description

Bosch 12V battery holder with electrical output. The model is based on the Bosch GBA 12V battery with 2.0 Ah capacity. I made this specifically for an Arduino project where the battery is the power supply.

Assembly is a straight forward process but requires some soldering or special connectors. The pins that slide into the battery are soldered to a cable and then routed through the opening in the bottom to the switches hole. Then the pin holder is connected which holds the pins in place. Then the ground or power cable is soldered to the on/off switch and routed to the openings in the front. Congratulations, you got yourself a 12V power supply.

The hole for the switch measures 30mm x 10 mm.

Printed with variable layer height, 0.08 mm at the fillets and the rest is printed at 0.2 mm. I printed it without support and it worked out well.

Feel free to add any suggestions! Happy printing!

*Edit: Made the opening for the battery larger so it is not such a tight fit, now it should fit nicely.

great idea, thank you! As I don't have many Bosch 12V batteries, I'd like to ask you, if you could make such a battery output for Parkside 12V batteries?

Sadly I currently don’t have access to a Parkside 12V, but if I get my hands on one, I’ll make a model for that as well. Perhaps you could try to print only a ring of the holder to see if it fits?
