Description

This is the flat lid for my Oval Steampunk trash can, which can be found at this link.

The completed trash can with a lid looks fantastic on the desk or the floor. It doesn't have to be a trash can – it could be used for storage.

Assembling this model is a breeze. Use the printed M4 x 10 bolt and nuts to attach the handle. If your printer fails to print them correctly, you can use real hardware.

The sample lid was printed using Bambu's PLA Silk (Copper) and Bambu's Matte PLA (Charcoal).

I had issues with the handle & thread mounts. I think a peg would have been better, I had to cut the threads off of the mounts. Otherwise, lid is alright. I did print the bolts, but I couldn't find any nuts..so I used metal ones. I also think that M4x20 is too long, M4x12 would have worked..I cut mine off at the nut. Sorry about the mistake with the bolt length; I mistyped it. It was supposed to be M4 x 10. To avoid the need for the correct hardware, I have just updated the profile to include printable nuts and bolts of the correct size. Thanks for the heads-up.
