This seems to be just a scaled-down version of a larger spool, since the holes for securing the filament ends are far smaller than 1.75mm. The center hole is also too small to fit on the spindles of an AMS lite, though they would fit most single-spool mounts. The 2 halves are secured to one another, and are free spin separately. The could prove a problem with any spool holder that rotates.
