The problem I saw with the BentoBox v2 is that the HEPA filter was on top, meaning air is pulling in through the filter first, and then going into the activated carbon.
Ideally, it should be the opposite – you want the air to go through the activated carbon first, and then the HEPA filter. This preferred configuration protects the HEPA filter from the VOCs that are captured by the carbon, and the HEPA blocks any carbon dust from getting into the exhaust.
While others have tried to address this, those remixes failed to notice that the bottom of the HEPA filter is significantly smaller than the opening to the fans – creating a vacuum and causing reduced performance from the fans.
This remix addresses both of these concerns: allows for the HEPA filter to be placed anywhere, and opens up the bottom of the HEPA compartment to give the fans room to work.
Additionally, I liked the Asanoha cover. I hadn't found a remix that added the grooved interface to that cover, so I remixed it and included in here.
I've printed these in both PLA and PETG without issue. Pictured are the PETG prints.
