Description

Hi everyone, Tommi here :)

I was very impressed with Ben Levis AMS Riser and decided to print one for myself. But since I have so many different tools and spare-parts that I often use, I needed something more tailored to my inventory.

That's why I made this Remix and added modular tool compartments and dividers to suit your individual 3D printing needs.

There are many compartments I designed specifically for things like Hotends, Wipers, Gluesticks and more - and if that's not what you're looking for, I also designed some dividers so you can make your own compartments.

I love the negative words! Mind uploading as a remix or sharing the font and numbers? I had trouble with a few of the insert words. Thanks!

Very nice print in Bambu PLA Basic. Love how the prints came out and I'm very happy with my drawers now.

The most important thing to know is that you will have many parts left over when finished even with a plan🤣 (see last pic). I like to use the integrated locking of the drawers but this limits the usable space. The dividers are always a bit to short and do not give a tight fit. Can be managed with superglue.

The "0.2mm layer, 4 walls, 30% infill" profile doesn't seem to be working correctly. When I open it, it's actually set to 0.08mm layer, 2 walls, 15% infill. I changed the settings as described in the name, but I don't know what other settings aren't loading correctly, and the print fails with stringy, loose overhangs on the bottom curves.

Thank you for posting. I feel better lol. The model with the curves on the bottom is sensitive to warping. When I used Bambu Basic PLA Black and their white it came out excellent. When I used Inland PLA, the corners and sides warped up and got very ugly. I went back to Bambu PLA and added supports and am using the interface support for PLA. The profile I have is 0.16 layers with white bottom lining. I use wham bam PEX plate at 60 deg C, but I suspect the result is better with lower chamber air temp, like 30, 31 C. My guess is that high speed filament or any with less thermal expansion (contraction) will do better.

good. though I feel like it should be more clear that you can’t put stuff against the front opening as it can get extremely hard to pull the drawer out if there’s anything rubbing as you can’t get grip. I fixed the grip issue by adding a small notch on the inside lip. I also made the front have dovetail cuts to be swappable. it printed the circles much better being on the top face and ironed than on the build plate. confusing as to what to print that works together for a first timer

That's what the small spacer with the concave curve is for 😉

I printed two of these and overall they are great. There is some deformity in almost the exact same spots on both drawers. I’m not sure if that’s a user error or an issue with the STL. Practically, it isn’t an issue. I haven’t printed any of the inserts yet.

same here. did the same exact thing. i think it might be how the first layer ontop of the gyroid infill fills in.
