Description
Our garden lighting needed a replacement after 15 years.
Now we have two solar lanters!
Choise of 120 or 150 mm diameter.
Optionally use the Milky Candle Insert for more light output.
The lantern is easy to clean by unscrewing the allen bolts.
Dimensions (as in first picture): 130 x 130 x 212 mm.
Printing
I printed the lanterns with eSun PETG filament, 0.2 mm layer height.
PETG is advised for outdoor use.
The Milky Candle Insert is designed to print in VASE mode, 8 bottom layers.
Assembly
Optionally place the white Candle Insert in the Top Plate.
Place the IKEA FRISERA drinking glass with the open end in the Top Plate.
Place and screw the Bottom Plate to the Top Plate with the 4 Allen bolts.
Screw the Screw Insert Bottom Plate to the Bottom Plate.
Place the 40 mm PVC tube between the Screw Insert Bottom Plate and the Stand/Spike.
Push the Solar Unit in the Top Plate.
Shopping list
IKEA FRASERA drinking glass, 30 cl. As an alternative print "Alternative for IKEA FRASERA"
Four M6x 20 mm Allen Bolts.
SOLAR Light diameter 80 / 70-72 mm (AliExpress / Amazon).
PVC tube diameter 40 mm.
