I enjoy crystals and other shiny objects… especially when they are in-game collectibles you are rewarded with. I decided to recreate the Rupees from The Legend of Zelda series. As you probably already know, it is the main form of currency used in Hyrule.
You can make these with or without the light/dark spots.
The loop on the top is optional, but very convenient for wall-mounting. It's a separate mesh, so you can just remove it in the slicer (or use the alternate no-loop version provided). You can also just use adhesive on the back side depending on where you plan to put it. It looks great when backlit too, depending on the opacity of the filaments you go with!
Since there are no slopes, to reduce print time/color swaps I have opted to use 0.28mm layer height. I printed mine out using Bambu PLA Basic on my Bambu Lab P1S with 0.4mm nozzle.
