This is a latch lock I designed for an issue I had for a while in the garage loft hatch opening, wereby the hatch was always held up with screws so i wanted to create a latch that could replace the trusty old screw support.
This is a compliant mechanism spring all printed in one no support needed just screw onto whatever you need to easily keep closed and let the fun begin.
I printed this is pla but could be printed in other material for longevity.
V2 Assembly
I've added an additional print profile to that includes an update from v1 (no faults) to V2 (including stop tabs) assembly Stop Tab shown in picture, nothing wrong with v1 and can still be used just that v2 has stop tabs to prevent the spring compressing to much
V3 Assembly
I've added an additional print profile to that includes an update from v2 to v3 this was to slimline the design and remove the screw hole tabs and recess them into the part.
