I`ve designed a little stand for the charger of the Motorola Advisor TPG2200 with space for an Shelly 1 smart switch. You can configure the shelly as an sensor so you can switch on smart devices when the integratet relais.
circuit diagram:
- connect plus from input-dc-socket with one junction box clamp
connect plus from junction box clamp with the shelly (N(+))
- connect minus from input-dc-socket with the other junction box clamp
- connect minus from junction box clamp with the shelly (L(-))
connect minus from junction box clamp with the second dc-socket
- connect the return signal from second dc-socket with the shelly (SW)
shelly/smarthome configuration:
In Shelly-app:
- timer:
- auto off: I have configured it with 180s (thats enough for me to leave the house. you could configure it in different ways. but this were the easiest way for me)
- settings:
- eco mode: active
- power on default: SWITCH
- Button Type: Activation Switch
- add the shelly device to the assistant. follow the instructions in the app
- then you need to set up two new scenes for you home (not personal)
- turn on: set the shelly as a trigger. when shelly switches on -> configure you devices / lights to turn on
- turn off: set the shelly as a trigger. when shelly switches off -> configure you devices / lights to turn off
