Description

I created yet another Tea Bag Organizer as I didn't find existing organisers to fit my needs. The most common Problem was, that almost non of the tea organisers I found, could handle up to 25 tea Bags. This is the amount which is quite common in Germany on some sorts. So I never had the chance to fit all bags in the Boxes at once, which triggered my inner Monk ;) That's why I decided to create my own.

Features:

  • Boxes with inserts for up to 25 Tea Bags of a size of 72mm x 64 mm (smaller and slightly bigger might also fit)
  • the inside of the Boxes is so designed that the inserts could easily be taken out and back in without the need to be super precise when putting back in
  • distances are quite big for easy sliding
  • the Boxes can be (not necessary have to) fitted with magnets with 4mm in diameter, 2 mm in height → this helps them to stay in place and fit perfectly together
  • there is also a test part included, if you want to test, if the magnets fit (in my case they fitted slightly on the tight side, so that I didn't needed glue)
  • IMPORTANT: if you choose to use magnets, make sure to get the orientation right, I used this Tool to make sure, that I always get the polarity right: https://www.printables.com/de/model/461166-the-magic-magnet-polarity-tool-v2 → to make the boxes completely interchangable you should put always the same polarity on the top sides and the left sides of the boxes and the other polarity on the bottoms and right sides

I printed the Boxes and inserts in PLA. The Inserts need support, tree support worked finde for me and got off very easy.

Awesome Tea Organizer! My wife loves it. A little tight for a couple of brands of tea we have, but still works good. Printed the drawer in the transparent green PETG, and the outside in white PETG. They look great together. It was my first big print with PETG so any lumps and mismatches are completely from me figuring out my settings. The model is great.

Interesting effect through the translucent Filament! Tea Bag Size is definetly always hard to get right for all, as there is so much Variation. But nice to see it still work for you. Thanks for Sharing your result.

Klassen Tee-Organisator. Passt alles perfekt zusammen. Mit Magneten bleibt alles da wo es sein soll. Gedruckt in PLA mit 0,20 mm Schichthöhe auf dem P1S.

I'm getting superb quality on my Bambu X1 Carbon. What size magnets does this require?

It's intended to use with magnets with 4mm in diameter, 2 mm in height (I just bought 200 4x2 magnets on Amazon, costs me around 8 EUR)
