Description

Recently I've been printing lots of Hueforges of album covers because I want to have them on my wall, and this was one I wanted, but Hueforge simply couldn't recreate all the colours. Instead, I recreated it myself by converting a high quality image of the album cover into an SVG, and then in Tinkercad I created shapes to match the lines and shapes on the album cover, retaining all of the elements. As a result it is a near 1:1 replica of the album cover and I think it turned out great.

This one is a bit of an oddball for a print because the majority of it is done in black, then a bit of white, and then all the colours in rapid succession. I've designed it so you don't need an AMS - the print profile includes pauses at each layer for colour changes, which are as follows:

Start with black

Layer 6 (1.20mm) - switch to white

Layer 11 (2.20mm) - switch to red

Layer 12 (2.40mm) - switch to orange

Layer 13 (2.60mm) - switch to yellow

Layer 14 (2.80mm) - switch to green

Layer 15 (3.00mm) - switch to blue

Layer 16 (3.20mm) - switch to purple

Of course if someone wanted to contribute an AMS friendly profile I'd greatly appreciate it (as I don't have one)!

Layers are printed at 0.20mm so it is a fast and easy print.
