I've 3d-printed it wth pink PLA onto a transparent film sheet with the pattern color laser printed. Turned out great!

they are just talking about the holographic or build plates that have designs on them, that is all.

Both broke when trying to put them together. Would recommend a thicker hinge for use with Silk PLAs. But this was a hit with my friends. I printed it on a holographic build plate and they loved it with the sparkle transfer pattern.
