Hi everyone,
I'm excited to share my latest 3D printing project with the Maker World community – a set of protective caps designed for JST-XH connectors, covering sizes from 2-pin up to 7-pin. I developed these caps to ensure that the connectors and their cables are perfectly protected from both physical damage and the elements.
The design is straightforward: it prints in two halves that easily snap together, making assembly a breeze. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced maker, you'll find this model easy to work with.
I've made the files available for free because I believe in the power of sharing knowledge and resources within our community. You can print the caps in a variety of materials. I recommend PLA for easy printing, PETG for better durability and resistance, or TPU if you need some flexibility and shock absorption.
I hope you find these protective caps useful, and I can't wait to see the innovative ways you all use them. Please feel free to modify and adapt the design to fit your needs, and of course, I'd love to see pictures of your prints!
Happy making,
