Description

Since the users were happy and there were some suggestions,

I decided to look into it a bit more and make some improvements.

-the possibility of taking one tablet a day

-the possibility of taking two tablets a day

-larger size and easier accessibility

-smaller version available

-no more lifting and no mixing of the smaller tablets inside box

-when you turn the knob for the first time, the cover locks and is released when the refill appears again

-more reliable stopping at the right position and a click appears

If you take the tablets once a week you will refill every other week, if you take them twice you will refill once a week.

Below is a picture of how it is assembled, only the handle sticks.

I see one screw at the back, what is it? I think it has come loose because of the screwing.

that’s the screw I put in to attach the knob. I still glued the knob but wanted to make sure it’s secure. it looks like there not enough bite into layer. I was just messing with it and it adhesion came apart. it was attached to the dispenser

This dispenser looks really cool, I am going to print 2 of them for my parents. Just an idea, it would be cool if they could be stacked on each other to put away in a cabinet until needed. Maybe the knob recessed but easy to turn. My mom is about 85 and easier is better haha :-) thanks for designing it, looking forward to printing it. Gave you a boost, Reason I say stacked, I am making one for my Dad and Mom, but awesome concept

There are a lot of wishes, and I have already built in a lot of wishes with this version. It would make sense to add legs and lower the slide :). That way it would be possible to stack one on top of the other. Thanks for the support :)

I just printed it and just waiting on the Top to print. One thing I see, when you take the lid off you don't really know what bay is what. Be cool if you had the same letter on the lid in the bottom panel. So when you have it on refill, you remove the lid and see the same Mon AM Mon PM etc, So person doesn't have to guess what bay it is going around. It would be 2 different inserts bottom inserts. Just a though, Iwill probely just take a pensil and mark the locations then remove it and sharpy the Mon AM MOn PM etc on the bottom. Great print though, Sorry just thinking to be cool it it had a latch to keep the lid on until you need to replish, parent accidently do crazy things haha. thanks again for a cool print. My parents will love it

here what I was talking about. printing on the inside. this thing is cool. I was think to lock the lid and I know it’s just an idea. what if you put a lip on the inside of the pill dispenser and on the lid a small right angle lip that catches and only allows the lid to come off when’s it’s in the refill position. probably a series of lips to make it stable. I may put a small screw on the lid to the handle as well awesome print

I look forward to trying it out, though even the small version is pretty huge. Have you thought about making a small 7-compartment version (like the v1) with the reliability improvements of v2 (no lifting or mixing, cover locking, reliable stop with click)?

Hello Rober7Crow,I have an idea for a modified lid so that the containers can be stacked when not in use. They would then take up less space.Unfortunately, my design options are limited, so I can't manage the lettering (in German) and the symbols. If you like my idea, you are welcome to use it.Best regardsMarcus

Hello Robert7Crow, I'm glad you like it. If you could design it for me, that would be great. Unfortunately I only work with tinkercad.com. I don't get on at all with Fusion360 - I don't know why, but somehow I don't understand the program. In one of the other comments, someone had also asked for a stackable version. This version of the lid should also be useful for this user. Many thanks for your efforts. Your tray box is really great! Could you add a second latch to the lid - on the opposite side? This would make the lid fit even better because it would be more secure. Best regards Marcus

If I add a pin to the other side, it will open on the opposite side. That's why I only released it on one side. I'm just wondering how to rotate, the smallest version is 95mm, maybe it would be better to develop a new concept for travel. What a slim version of the pill box.

The letters are not made in the bamboo studio, because when you turn them, it does not make this quality. But I can prepare, just tell me what you would have written 🤗
