Description

I wanted slim travel battery cases for my 18650 batteries so why not create them. It was also a very good learning experience for me. :)

 

The 18650 battery cases lock by friction quite well. Might even be watertight but I have not tested yet. After all it's PLA so I would not count on that for long.

 

As I wanted them as slim as possible, while still separating the cells in their own tube, I had to lower the pattern depth to the minimum on the 3x18650 case.

 

Printed with 0.12 mm layer height as otherwise the threads fail from time to time. The time difference is not that big too.

 

You can mix and match pattern and smooth versions of the same model. For example 3 batteries smooth base + 3 batteries patterned lid.
