Description

A quick adapter i made so rather than having a bunch of almost empty or mini spools laying around, you can combine 2 spools into one. You have to do a little planning ahead since you can't load both sides of the spool into the AMS at once, but this will help you tidy things up a little at least.

Print settings don't really matter and can be printed whatever as long as you don't say print it from PLA and then try to dry some PETG that's on it. I used 2 walls, 2 top and bottom layers, and 10% infill with adaptive layer height on a 0.4 nozzle, but most of the layers are just 0.28mm. I also let it print with the auto generated brim, but if you're just using PLA i don't think it's necessary. Uses ~66g of filament with a 2h 40m print time depending on your settings.

The spacer doesn't need supports if you print it with the chamfered end up, and the divider only needs some small supports on the inside where the parts mate together. The half with the divider has a notch that lines up with the one on the bambu spools, and the two halves have a notch you need to line up so the inside doesn't spin when using the AMS.

Photo above is a version before i added the cuts to use less filament.
