Description

Packout rail wheel bracket

Bracket will fix to packout rail and hold the spinning wheel

 

Printed in PETG 60% infill adaptive cubic 0.42 layer height

Printing

  1. Remember to mirror the second part
  2. Add pause to layer where the hexagon space for the nut is finished but not yet covered (for me with 0.42 layer height its was layer 103)
  3. Drop the M12 nuts in the holes while paused
  4. Continue printing

 

BOM

  • M12 nut 2pcs
  • M10 threaded rod cut to 66mm in length and cut slot to end to fasten with flathead screwdriver
  • Spinning wheel with diameter of 80mm and thread of M12
  • M3 threaded instert
  • M3x10 hex head bolt

Assembly

  1. Thread in the rod with screw driver to hole in the back
  2. Thread in the wheel
  3. Slide the assembly to packout rail
  4. decice height for the wheels.
  5. Drill Hole 0.5 smaller than the M3 Insert trough the print and rail (dont go through from the backside of the rail.)
  6. Push the insert in and thread in the screw

Thanks for sharing!! Is the 66mm M10 threaded rod for strength? Also the slot going through the side of that--what is this designed for?
