Description

In order to reduce the so-called beach effect in the litter box and to develop a stem for a wide variety of litter boxes that catches as much litter as possible, I designed a collection container. The size is 20 centimeters by 40 centimeters.

The white mats can be removed individually; you can then vacuum the container or take it and empty it. I have designed an extension option for a better fit in front of the toilet and to prevent slipping. This can be glued to the container and the litter box can then be placed on top of it. But it also works without it, so it would be an advantage if you attached rubber feet or perhaps Velcro or something similar, just so that it stays in place. This would certainly be the more sensible option for emptying, as in my case I would have to lift the litter box every time.

I hope this reduces the beach effect for you too, it has helped me well so far and it also looks good, better than the usual mats that are used to catch the litter in front of the toilet, which ultimately don't fit in anyway everything gets stuck and spreads all over the room.

Since I found that my two cats still manage to spread the litter over the box, I designed a high edge, which can be attached later with (for me) hot glue. This edge is also too big for the print bed, so I had to split it.

So that the gap at the front doesn't bother you, I also designed an "Anti Beach" sign which you can stick over the spot. Alternatively, this sign can be printed out in a single color and stuck over it. It's best to always use hot glue from a hot glue gun.
