5 star print. - 1/2 a star for weak hinge. + 1 star due to scoop fitting perfectly inside the AMS riser drawer. 5.5 stars total? XD. Looks amazing, works great. However, don't print in silk like I did, the hinge breaks off and leaves a hole for the silica beads to fall out of. Not sure if this can be strengthened, but a little blockage behind the hinge hole would be a good addition to this model.

To avoid breaking the hinge you should put 1st hinge into the 1st hole of the box. Then bend the whole lid a littebit to spread 2nd hinge to fit into 2nd hole. Don't try to bend the hinge itself since as you see it brakes. What do you mean with: 'a little blockage behind the hinge hole would be a good addition to this model.'?

Sorry for the late reply, I don't often check back for replies. I found your design even works well with a broken hinge except the silica gel beads roll out of the hole where the little hinge clips in. Without a breakage it isn't an issue, but with 1 hinge missing, the beads roll out. My thought was to either change the hole in the side wall into a little block with a hollow or to move that side wall in so you can thicken the hinge piece. The weakness is caused by my printing with silks instead of standard pla so probably not something many ppl will encounter. It still is a great design.

At first I was nervous and was afraid that the hinges would break off when the cover was hung due to insufficient dimensions or insufficient adhesion between the layers. However, it turned out that this was not a problem. Although I already had a small scoop for the beads, I also printed this scoop and am delighted with it. Perfectly dimensioned and aesthetically pleasing.
