Description

Print with your current settings, then adjust the horizontal expansion feature according to the results you measure after printing. Hope it helps! Steps below the shape's sizes

Note* Measure the inner distance on hexagons.

Measures you must get

First shape       - 10.00mm

Second shape  - 10.10mm

Third shape     - 10.20mm

Fourth shape   - 10.25mm

Fifth shape       - 10.30mm

[STEP 1]

After printing it for the first time, measure all the holes and take note on how far are the real measures on how they must be. Then compute the average of them and this is your first horizontal expansion:

[STEP 2]

How to fix it in CURA:

Go to material settings, look for horizontal expansion and:

If you get a bigger dimension (e.g. 10.40mm) add a -0.4mm to this feature.

If you get a smaller dimension (e.g. 9.60mm) add a 0.4mm to this feature.

[STEP 3]

Print again and repeat the calibration until you get 10.00mm in the first shape. That way you'll have your printer calibrated.
