Description

Update: I'm thinking about creating a new, harder puzzle for the pets that need a challenge tougher than this one. Leave a comment if that sounds interesting, if at least 3 people would like to see it happen it will.

Please drop a like of you enjoyed it and don't forget to post your makes!

A puzzle for your dog or cat which you can fill with treats and watch your pet figure out how to open it!

No supports for this print!

No screws or glue, just press it together.

I have uploaded both STL and STEP-files for you to choose. They are the same files.

Assembly:

  1. Insert the lid into the middle of the base, might need some force.
  2. Put one slider over each pair of holes on the outer part. Put the remaining over the middle holes.
  3. Gently put the top over the entire assembly, without moving the sliders out of position. Put the top in the right oriention for its corresponding holes and push down firmly until it sticks.
  4. Fill it with treats and have your pet go at it! :)

The standard model measures 134mm in diameter and 18mm in height (I have a tiny dog). Naturally, it is scalable to your liking. ;)

Update: @user_4276051936 pointed out that there were to few parts in the print profile. I've updated it now so that it's the full kit ready to be assembled.

My cat likes it very much. I added a TPU ring on the bottom so it doesn't slide to much or makes noise. Printed in black PLA with silk silver PLA

didn’t work for me, maybe because it’s a bit fiddly to press together but when I pulled it apart all the little dowels snapped off so had to use super glue.

It's not meant to be pulled apart after assembly. You put all the parts in place and then snap it together. I can design another version with plastic screws if you want to dissamble it.

it wasn’t sticking down with the first try so I had to pull it back up in order to super glue it. that’s when the little dowels snapped.

Okey thanks for the feedback. I will look into it when I have the time and see if I can make better tolerances for the pins or stronger pins.

Sorry! I made a mistake with the print profile, I will update it so it prints 8 disks at the same time. Update: The print profile has been fixed now.

Cats love it even though it is pretty easy for them to clean it out. Have fun with it non the less.
