Description

Model:

Desk marble fidget toy! Featuring a fun mechanism to throw the ball towards the track! Have endless fun with this functional desk toy!

Printing:

Use provided print profiles for best results! I've tested sizes down to 25% which have still worked (check picture, but I'm only including the 100% and 50% versions as print profiles. If you want the 25% or 75% feel free to scale the print profile, or download the included STL:s.

!IMPORTANT! - If you download the STL:s remember to add supports for the ball launching mechanism, check photo below:

Also the ball needs to be cleaned after printing from all of the support residue. Use side cutters or a knife to get it round!

Not much else to it, enjoy!

Works Fine As Long As You Clean It Off Well I had to make sure it was perfectly round to get it to not get stuck. It took about 3 minutes.

Bed Adhesion Issue:Bed Adhesion Issue I saw this model on Makerworld and immediatly hit print. I was watching the print, and noticed that a small area, next to the cooling fan was sticking up. This could have easily been avoided with a higher bed tempature or lower cooling fan speed. (pictures below) It did not really affect the print. Overall the print is really cool as long as the ball is round. The bottom is a bit bendy and the launch mechanism is a little difficult to work.

Thank you for the feedback! What material did you use? Did you have your cabinet open or closed? Could it be that it was too hot in there and it warped? I have printed about 5 of these (during testing and prototyping) and this hase never happenned to me. You can also DM me if you want, or we can keep the discussion here!

Smaller than I expected. I recommend duplicating to increase chances of getting at least one good one. It's cheap in terms of time and material, but is a good insurance policy. I printed three at once and only two survived.

Not as good as i thought it'd be, but no fault of the print. Print and design are as shown.
