I'll admit this is partially an oversight on my behalf, but also something that should've been added at the design level. There are tiny supports at bottom of the lowest part of the handle cover, but nothing for the entire large top portion resulting in the first layer of that area being poor quality and stringy. I'll definitely do another one and manually add the additional supports that should have been included.
