I created this model to tighten the strings on a tensegrity table I built and keep the lines from coming loose over the time. It worked so well I decided to share it with anyone who may need it for similar use. Originally I used Turnbuckles to make the strings tight but they kept coming loose over time. They are strong enough that the lines broke before the gear in my use. if you use it to keep a light taught note that you can only tighten. Can't loosen.

The gear is based on a model from GrabCad (https://grabcad.com/library/ratcheting-gear-1) - Many thanks to the orignial designer. I just modified the model in blender to add the screw holes and re-shape it for my need.
