Description

I've added the assembly video on my youtube channel, and you can find too my account tiktok on bio.

All is printable parts.

The issue for ramrod to short is probably a not perfect calibration, in a XYZ cube if you have 19.90 so in my 200mm height barrel you will loose 2mm. So i maded a barrel printable flat to have the same mystake calibration as ramrod for they can match together.

ATTENTION, NOT A FIREARM ANYMORE. I thought that the comment section of this print would appreciate this. This has been in my family since about 1917. My great grandfather had just gotten to the USA from Ireland and was working construction in Montana on his way to Portland, OR. One night, there was a big commotion and some chaos in the street (later finds out that someone was shot and killed that night), his buddy from the construction site knocks on his door, hands him his construction bag, says that some stuff went down, and he has to run, but he will meet my great grandpa in Portland and asks him to hold onto his bag. He does so, gets to Portland, forgets all about it. Years later, comes across the bag in the basement, his buddy never showed up, this was in the bag with two shots missing. What do you do when you unwittingly transport a murder weapon across state lines?? You drill it out and turn it into a lamp. So, this is no longer a firearm, it is a dismantled lamp component. It was once a Remington 1858.

Another great model! I love the hammer action and the rotating cylinder. All without any additional hardware. The YouTube video shows how it's assembled. Bravo!

Hello, I need some help printing the body/frame. Due to the cylinder cover near the hammer, the model is lifted up of the bed if positioned sideways. I would like to know what would be the optimal way to print the body/frame. Thanks!

@Ezra you need to print it like this. But I repeat myself, but you should use my print profil cause I added support blockers in the screw✌️😁

could not find the assembly video, used video of someone cleaning the real deal instead. I'm impressed, cycles and everything though the "springs" don't last long they're easy enough to reprint and replace.

Print is amazing. my issue was the barrel would print about 70% and then become detected from the build plate this happened 2x before I realized the actual issue (bent the nozzle on the second error). At first I thought the handle was the cause. I resolved this by seperating on seperate plates an using hairspray on the textured PEI plate 3rd times a charm. Need to print the remix ramrod it a few mm short of the holder, printed the screws face up to show slots

I had the same issue with the rod being a bit short but all in all a nice gun and printed well. I would like a short barrel version of this revolver (5.5 inch). I might try to shorten the barrel and rod to match. I will print it again but with 70% infill to give it a more solid feel. I'll let you know if I do.

All the little pieces printed fine but the barrel and body of the prop gun just turned into a bunch of wasted filament. Reprinted it and the quality was pretty good
