No supports. The Dowels are 5.8 mm and press-in on this pegboard. I believe the hole spacing is pretty standard at 1in sq. These are meant to be printed on either flat side. The fit and finish took me 4 tries to dial in, so hopefully it is a perfect fit for you too! Feel free to let me know how it works with the boxes, and the press fit. If adjustments need to be made, you can request them to me.
