Description

This is a remix of two spice racks:

The original in the 3in1 form (https://www.printables.com/de/model/58718-spice-rack-pullout/files)

and the wide + taller top remix (https://www.printables.com/de/model/503036-spice-rack-pullout-remix-wide).

This spice rack can contain jars up to 66,5 mm width. Also, due to the 3in1 bottom, it is more robust and saves a bit of space to the sides.

The whole rack dimension is 22,7 cm (width) x 27,4 cm (depth) x 28,7 cm (heigth).

The tolerances of this model are very tight by design! I like it that way myself, so if I pull the rack nothing comes flying onto me. But my wife keeps complaining it isn't smooth enough. So if you like a smoother pull, scale the X-axis of the buttom and the endcap by 1%. This should do the trick.

For mounting the rack, you will need:

Up to 12 flat head screws. 4 x 16 mm spax worked for me.

3 x Book Binding posts - M5 x 15 mm.

6 x Fender Washers 3/16 in. x 1 in. (honestly I just took some slightly similar I had left in stock)

For the whole rack you will need a bit less than 1,2 kg of filament (pla works fine).

Printed fine. Some of my smaller spice bottles kept falling into the center groove so I made a drop in floor.

This was a fun first-time functional "assembly" model. My husband thought it was store bought at first. 😂
