this may be a weird question, but I'm prepping to start this print now and see that your file has brims set up on the print. Why the brims? Is there a reason for it? I know the supports generated for the Animal crossing house worked well, but I didn't brim those parts at all.

Hi there and thank you for the question. I normally would not run brims except for cases where I have thin parts with sharp corners or if I am printing several parts on one plate, where if one failed, it would cause problems for the others. I consider it simple insurance and they are easily removable. Please feel free to omit them If you have a fresh, clean build plate. My build plate is getting a bit old and the Dawn detergent & Scrub Daddy don't always work as well as I would like.

Makes sense! Another quick one-for the windows, did you use a transparent PLA filament? I have one that I have yet to use I may tinker around some before I print the windows.

Yes, I personally like Sunlu Clear. The windows print two layers thick and have a nice frosted window appearance. Here is a thought for the Nook's Cranny model. You could take a screen grab of the front of the building in the game and make a color inkjet print of the display window contents, Cut the picture out and slide it in behind the windows. I have not done this yet but thought that it might be fun.

Yes, you will need glue as you assemble the model. I used Gorilla Super Glue. It is not necessary to glue the roof on.
