Great design! I scaled it up to 55mm (110%) and used m2.5 screws so it's more standard size and it works better than expected. Corners and edges are a bit sharp on the fingers, but performance is good. And I really like that the faces are colored plastic instead of needing stickers. With fairly tight tensions and some lube, it's got about 1 cubie of corner cutting + 3/4 cubie reverse corner cutting. Doesn't look or feel like it will have issue popping. I'm interested to see if the screws ever pop from the core. I had some troubles with printing orientation. I ended up printing the corners oriented as if it's from the bottom layer so the stalk is point up at an angle - not straight up. It requires supports but the thin stalk is way stronger. I printed the edges on the tapered part with the inner mechanism point straight up. I used tree supports for both, but may not be needed for the edges. For the core make sure to lay the pieces flat.
