From the scan of a baseball I designed a pen holder to get a decorative element on my desk, I think it succeeded :)

Attention: It's presliced with two holes, you can easily make more or less holes for more or less pencils. In Bambuslicer you have to rightclick on the baseball and choose “add a negative piece”. 

I chose the cylindrical shape and set the depth to 35 millimeters, the diameter is 12 millimeters.
