Have you ever lost your iFixit handle, or did someone borrow yours but you need one too? Print this!!
As opposed to other designs, all you need are 2 M3 Hex Nuts that are inserted inside and provide a much stronger hold on the driver head!
The use of hex nuts thus prevents to tool head from rounding out the collet from frequent uses and strong torque.
The collet is screwed on to prevent the hex nuts from falling out. The space within the hex nuts was designed to provide just enough for the tool head to slide in and yet maintain a good grip.
A quick and cheap, 3D printable alternative/replacement for common precision screwdriver multi-tool kits.
Designed for a hex base tool head with a measured 3.93mm width, clearance has been included in the design, however, the fit may depend on the tool head you might have as well as other print factors such as your printer's calibrated flow rate.
Parts in the image were printed with PETG.
Please enjoy the model and I hope you find a use for it! Happy making!
