Description

You're tired of seeing your desk cluttered with 3D printing debris or various waste!

The solution is here: a trash can that attaches directly to your desk. Simply slide it on, and your waste will now be confined to one place.

It's as simple as that: you print it and screw it onto your desk. It can be adapted to desks up to 3.5 cm thick. I've added a piece of TPU to ensure better grip under constraint.

I made 2 versions of my trash can, one large which you can see in the photos with a height of 160 mm, and another smaller one with a height of 115 mm, for those with less filament and who want to print faster. (The assembly remains the same.)

And there you have it, problem solved! With its large capacity, you won't need to empty it every day; it can hold a lot for a long time.

IMPORTANT NOTE: There may be a slight lack of grip for the trash can to hold well.

To remedy this, you can apply a bit of hot glue on the top of the trash can that is in contact with the table.

After several tries, I found that the best solution was to put the trash can under constraint with the TPU. To do this, you screw the trash can normally to the table, then you remove it and tighten it a bit more. This way, when you put the trash can back in place, it will be well secured and will hardly move at all.

Good impression!

Have made it a couple of weeks ago and use if for scraps every day. I absolutely love it. Now I think I will print the large version. The fuzzy skin effect is great and absolutely does not remind anyone of the 3D printed item.

Fragile sur le haut si vous avez trop de vide, il s'est cassé avec le serrage pourtant faible mais reste utilisable tout de même ! (J'avais pas de scotch donc j'ai mis de la colle néoprène mais c'est pas très efficace pour le coup.. 😅)

I printed this out to use as a paper waste collector - I have a Bambu P1P and printed using Basic PLA. It printed great. I printed the large bin with smooth surface. No problems with printing. But dosn't fit the edge of my desk - My Dest is wider so the space is too small to fit over the edge.

good design. doesn't work with my table but that is my fault I forgot the height adjustable mechanism would be on the way, will try to repurose it elsewhere. I printed it with fuzzy skin.

The idea is really nice. The design itself is not properly attachable since the screw is positioned too far away from the upper position. It stands now on my tableside instead of being used on the table.
