Simple AMS side mount spool holder inspired by Laisch's LPSH and I am using it with Simple3D's AMS riser
Assembly should be pretty self explanatory threaded insert goes into bottom hole of the filament holder
If you don't have a Bowden coupler print the Filament Holder Push Fit Tube
Threads are a little tight between the the spool holder and the plate, you should be able to work it back and forth to loosen them up, if needed you could probably scale it to something like 99.5%
Print the Filament Holder Bowden Coupler and Filament Holder Push Fit Tube at .12 layer height or less to make sure the threads and holes turn out fine. Everything else should be fine at .2
If you need a small modification to the designs I would more than likely be able to do that for you
Parts needed:
6 4x12 Screws
1 “10mm” Bowden Coupler they're actually 1/8 BSPT but they're sold as 10mm
1 4mm threaded(heat) inserts (6mm OD 6mm long)
Additional Parts needed if Simple3D's AMS riser:
5 4mm threaded(heat) inserts (6mm OD 6mm long)
Additional Parts needed if Laisch's LPSH AMS clamps
5 4mm nuts
AMS Clamps:
There seems to be different versions of the AMS. So before you print the clamps, check the rib size of your AMS.
If you have 4 Ribs witch are 65mm - 86mm - 65mm apart, you can print the clamps like they are in the print profile.
If you have 6 ribs witch are about 45 - 43mm apart you have to just print the "Clamp_small_18mm" at least 3 times
My OrcaSlicer profile is also included, I highly recommend trying OrcaSlicer out if you're interested in more options and better quality
