Drawer Box set.

Description
I started with printing the gridfinity box from “Pred” and quickly found that I actually would have more need for something with drawers. I wanted to incorporate the latch/clip system I know from my Festool systainer system and which Preds boxes also make use of, into my own design. I kept the layout format the same so the two systems, Preds gridfinity and this drawer system, are compatible and can be attached easily onto each other. I remodeled the latches into shorter versions than the ones in Preds design.
To make printing easier I have, where neccesary, incorperated “breakaway supports” into the models. The top part needs to be printed upside down. The rectangular pieces supporting the latch hooks will break away very easy after printing. For the latches I made small support blocks for the axle protrusions.
The 4 little guides on top of the box will need to be glued, these are to help align the stacked boxes. You can leave them if you are not going to stack multiples.
The original 6x5 grid size was test printed and printed without any issues. This is only altered in width, 5x5 grid, so I expect it to print without any issues.
Recommended print settings: 4 walls at 0.4mm thickness with 0.3 layerheight, except for the drawer grips. Use your own prefered infill settings.
The grips were printed with 10 walls at 0.12 with the slanted top part on the printbed. No supports are needed. You could use less walls but I wanted mine to be solid.
The grips clamp tight onto the drawer and can be attached withou glue! The top part of the drawer box will need to be glued though, if you want the system to be portable.
Drawer inserts are still being made and will upload them upon completion!
