Description

IMPORTANT: Please be sure the top and bottom are scaled to the same size!

Easter bunnies!

Please share a picture if you print it, I always love to see your makes and read a feedback.

I used PLA, 15% infill, NO supports needed.

I tried various sizes and it worked fine, however, I recommend to print 50 % size or bigger.

I also recommend to use the “paint seam” tool to paint the seam on the back of the bunny. Otherwise you might end up with the seam on the “face” side.

TIP: for Kinder Surprise to fit in - scale it to 80%

TIP 2: printable faces from @Bergo82 (haven’t tried it personally, but looks great) for 80% egg size

Happy Easter!!

The model itself deserves 5 stars! Very cute! I want to be clear that the model is great. But the provided profile leaves a bit to be desired. See below.
Bed Adhesion Issue: Before I printed this, I was already concerned about the top half (with the bunny ears). There is just very little contact patch of the top half. Just a few millimeters as it is otherwise hollow. Needs a brim and/or slower speeds. Also the default seam isn't position isn't ideal. I'm going to upload a new profile to address all these issues.

Sorry to hear about that. It looked like it printed good fine in your picture, though.

@12331244632112 I had to print it a second time with a a brim and a bit slower. The first one I had to cancel when it came off the plate. It might hold on just well enough for others, but the margin of error without a brim is too small IMO. But I did like that you used 6 walls as it essentially made it a solid print.

Thank you both for the discussion :) I don’t have a Bambu printer but I printed about 20 of the bunnies in various sizes (on smooth or satin pei sheet) and I never had to use a brim (…I guess my printer is just slower😄) I hope everyone will find what works for them :) I’m glad you like the model! Enjoy the Easter :)

The 3D printer is giving me a hard time and I have no idea why. I just started using it. Can you give me some tips?

Hello, it seems like the bottom si smaller then the top, did you scale it to the same %? I’m not sure about the weird structure on the bottom part, never happened to me. I would probably try to slow down the printing or try to use other filament, if the result will be the same.

Thanks a bunch! I'll definitely take your advice into account. To be honest, I'm not too worried about the size thing. What really bugs me is this weird structure—I just want to fix it.

Unfortunately I don’t have a Bambu printer, so I cannot tell exactly how to set things in Bambu studio/slicer, I was just asked to share my design here on makerworld. One other thing you could try is adjusting the nozzle temperature(I think you should be able to do it during the print to see immediately if the structure is better) . I hope you will be able to fix it :)

Printed nicely and screws together great, however bottom is scaled down more than the top so there is a visible size difference..

I’m sorry about that, I hope whoever uploaded the print profile could maybe delete it? Both parts should be scaled to the same %.

Thanks for your review. I´ve corrected the scaling of the bottom part, so it fits now perfectly

Very cute model. Even my wife who isn't into 3D printing liked them and asked me to print more in other colors. Five stars for this model.

Nice, but bottom shell is smaller in diameter than the upper one.
