Description

Toolhead cover, but with a cat on it, for the x1 series. Compared to the original part, the overhang structure has been reduced to improve the print quality.

*Please try to use PETG or engineering filaments with better heat resistance for printing, the toolhead cover printed by PLA filaments will be deformed and fallen off due to high storage temperature when printing high-temperature consumables such as nylon, which may cause damage to the equipment.

*You will need two N52 grade Φ4mm x 2mm round magnets for attaching it to the tool head.

mine printed amazing with carbon fibre pla and it's been running quite amazing since I swapped it from the default cover the magnets I used are really strong aswell so the cover definitely ain't falling off during printing my next upgrade is to install the light in the tool head 😀 cheers for this mod ☺️

A very delicate and lovely model. I printed a sample using PETG and found that there was shrinkage at one corner of the lower mouth. It doesn't fit with the other air ducts. and it`s good for p1 use.

overall pretty good, I did have an issue with the strength of the screw points for attaching the fan as one broke off completely while trying to secure the fan. I printed this in PETG as well. otherwise pretty cool

I`m not sure, cause I only have X1,sorry, but you can use cheap filament and high print speed to print a test sample.

definitely does not require 6x2 magnets. only 4x2 fit for me.

I can remix this into a no-cat-ear version if you want. But it's kinda cute with them !

Please do! I tried doing it myself, but I'm just recently learning fushion 360 and the mesh just locks it up for me!
