Description

This model is a remix of the TNG Tricorder by UnimatrixRed. Each color is on a different plate. I used the 6x2mm magnets to hold the lid closed. I got the magnets from Amazon. Pretty cheap. I left the multiple base tags on a separate plate in case someone prefers one of those.

I used a paperclip that I straightened out for the hinge pin and not the one that is printed, and it worked well for me.

To do the screens, I printed on an inkjet printer and then used packing tape on both sides to make it a label. Then spray adhesive to attach it to the model. File is in the raw files.

There are a LOT of variations that you can do with this model. I have left most of them in this remix. Your first choice is if you want a medical version with the scanner or just the basic tricorder. The main 2 variations are on plate 4 and 5. I really liked the top versions where there was already supports, so I have chosen those versions. After you make that decision, print the other pieces you need. It took me a lot of time to sort out all the different variations. It is that cool of a model.

For the most part I am happy with the results but might revisit it and will post the new files.

Please support the original designer UnimatrixRed on the original link. This and the other models are mainly his designs just tweaked and laid out for the Bambu printers.
